Adult Degu Repeat Reunion

Study examines how adult degus establish memories for new individuals. Each video represents one "reunion" session in which a degu is exposed either to a cagemate, a new stranger, or a familiar but recently-acquainted conspecific of the same sex. Videos are purely natural behavior within dyads; no behavioral or physiological/pharmacological manipulations are performed. Reunions take place approximately each 48 hours, which includes 24 hours of co-habitation with a cagemate followed by a 24 hours separation period.

本研究旨在探讨成年八齿鼠（degu）如何建立对新个体的记忆。每一段视频对应一次"重聚"实验环节，受试八齿鼠在此环节中会分别接触三类对象：同笼伙伴、陌生同类，或是性别相同、熟悉但新近结识的同种个体。所有视频均记录成对八齿鼠间的自然行为，未施加任何行为、生理或药理学干预手段。重聚环节约每48小时开展一次，每个周期包含24小时的同笼共处阶段，随后为24小时的分离阶段。
