2025 Blueprint Planned Major Transit Stops Planned major transit stops that are included in an applicable regional transportation plan. In this context, “planned” means a major transit stop included within the planning horizon (2050) of SACOG’s adopted 2025 Blueprint, the region’s Metropolitan Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy. A major transit stop is defined as a site containing a site containing any of the following: An existing rail or bus rapid transit station, a ferry terminal served by either a bus or rail transit service, or the intersection of two or more major bus routes with a frequency of service interval of 20 minutes or less during the morning and afternoon peak commute periods.
