Major and trace element analyses of the <2-µm fraction of soil samples collected from the alpine zone of the Uinta Mountains, Utah (USA)

This dataset includes major and trace element (ICP-MS and XRF) analyses of the clay fraction of soils collected from the alpine zone of the Uinta Mountains. Overall color and grain size distribution are also presented. Samples were collected to determine the likely parent material of these clay minerals.

本数据集包含采自尤因塔山脉(Uinta Mountains)高山带土壤黏土组分的常量与微量元素分析数据，分析采用电感耦合等离子体质谱法(ICP-MS)与X射线荧光光谱法(XRF)两种方法。此外还提供了样品的整体颜色与粒度分布信息。本次采样的目的是探明此类黏土矿物的潜在母质来源。
