Sea Ice Observation Log For Davis, 1993

Four ice monitoring stations were set up at Davis in 1993 (a fifth station was added after the first two months), with regular recordings of ice depth, snow cover and ablation made for each station by taking a sea ice core. Observations of the general condition of the drilled cores were also recorded.

Observations were made at irregular intervals (roughly every 1-2 weeks). The observations for each individual day are listed, along with a summary table.

These records are stored as handwritten files, and are archived at the Australian Antarctic Division.

1993年，科研人员在南极戴维斯站（Davis）设立了4个海冰监测站，建站满两个月后新增第5个监测站点。各站点通过钻取海冰岩心的方式，定期开展冰厚、积雪覆盖状况以及冰消融量的观测记录，同时还对钻取所得冰岩心的整体状态进行了配套观测。

观测采用非固定间隔开展，大致周期为1-2周。数据集既单列了每日的单独观测记录，同时附带了观测汇总统计表。

本数据集的原始观测记录以手写档案形式存储，目前由澳大利亚南极局（Australian Antarctic Division）归档保存。
