This folder contains all of the wake data, CFD models, and completed simulations used in the paper: Parameterized Vertical-Axis Wind Turbine Wake Model Using CFD Vorticity Data (included in this folder). Descriptions of each of the items are as follows:<br>CFD VORTICITY DATAThe .csv files of all of the vorticity data obtained from the lateral cuts made. Included is a .txt file describing the naming system and a .csv file containing the lengths used for obtaining the lateral cuts (i.e., length reported (m) divided by (30*i) indicates the distances downstream each cut (i) was made at).<br>Files are ordered by:<br>w#_s#_t#.csv<br>w#: indicates windspeed in m/s<br>s#: indicates solidity<br>t#: indicates tip-speed ratio multiplied by 100, for example: 250 = 2.5<br>CFD MODELSThis file contains the SolidWorks part files and the parasolid (*.x_t) files used for the CFD simulations. Base files of the CFD simulations are also included (2D meshed) for each solidity (s1: 0.15, s2: 0.25, s3: 0.5, s4: 0.75, s5:, 1.0). The java macro file can be used in STAR-CCM+ to run the files by specifying each of the parameters desired near the beginning.<br>Also included is the same CFD data used to model the PIV validation study using the specifications in the paper (naca0018piv): <br>Tescione, G., Ragni, D., He, C., Ferreira, C. S., and van Bussel, G., “Near wake flow analysis of a vertical axis wind turbine by stereoscopic particle image velocimetry,” Renewable Energy, Vol. 70, 2014, pp. 47-61.<br>COMPLETED CFD SIMULATIONSThe completed 2D CFD simulations of a 3-bladed VAWT used for the initial parameterized wake model. The simulations were run at wind speeds of 12, 14,15, and 16 m/s, rotation rates of 17 and 18 rad/sec, and varying tip-speed ratios and solidities using STAR-CCM+. Each of the files are in a separate zip file with the wind speed and rotation speeds indicated. The naming conventions are similar to the CFD vorticity data with the differences of "ta" standing for time averaged and _r##_ indicating a specified rotation rate rather than a wind speed.<br>

本文件夹包含论文《基于计算流体动力学(Computational Fluid Dynamics, CFD)涡量数据的参数化垂直轴风力机尾流模型》(已收录于本文件夹)所使用的全部尾流数据、CFD模型与已完成仿真。各项目的说明如下:<br>### CFD涡量数据<br>本部分包含所有通过侧向截面切割获取的涡量数据的.csv文件。其中附带一份说明命名规则的.txt文件,以及一份记录侧向截面切割所用长度的.csv文件(即:所报告长度(单位:米)除以(30×i),即可得到第i次截面切割对应的下游距离)。<br>文件命名格式为:w#_s#_t#.csv,其中:<br>w#代表风速(单位:m/s);<br>s#代表实度;<br>t#代表叶尖速比乘以100,例如:250即代表2.5。<br>### CFD模型<br>本文件夹包含用于CFD仿真的SolidWorks零件文件与parasolid (*.x_t)格式文件。同时附带各实度下的CFD仿真基础文件(已完成二维网格划分,实度分别为s1: 0.15、s2: 0.25、s3: 0.5、s4: 0.75、s5: 1.0)。可在STAR-CCM+中使用附带的Java宏文件运行仿真,只需在文件开头指定所需的各项参数即可。<br>此外还附带了用于复现论文中粒子图像测速(Particle Image Velocimetry, PIV)验证研究的同款CFD数据(文件命名为naca0018piv),其引用文献如下:<br>Tescione, G., Ragni, D., He, C., Ferreira, C. S., 与 van Bussel, G., “基于立体粒子图像测速技术的垂直轴风力机近尾流流场分析”,《可再生能源》,第70卷,2014年,第47-61页。<br>### 已完成CFD仿真<br>本部分包含用于初始参数化尾流模型的三叶垂直轴风力机二维CFD仿真结果。本次仿真采用STAR-CCM+完成,仿真工况涵盖:风速12、14、15、16 m/s,转动速率17与18 rad/s,以及可变叶尖速比与实度。每个仿真结果均打包为独立的zip压缩文件,文件名中包含对应的风速与转动速率。命名规则与CFD涡量数据类似,区别在于:“ta”代表时间平均,“_r##_”代表指定的转动速率,而非风速。
