UK: share of adults who are willing to eat GM food products 2020, by income

In 2019/2020, asked in a survey whether or not they would be happy to eat genetically modified products, roughly ten percent of respondents earning less than 9,500 British pounds strongly agreed that they would be happy to do so. The share of those who agreed strongly was lowest among respondents earning between 17,500 and 39,999 pounds and came to five percent in both income brackets in this range. In general a larger share of respondents earning less that 9,500 agreed with the statement overall (strongly and slightly) than respondents from any other age group.
