The Problem of VapidnessThis journal entry examines human vapidness not as an inherent emptiness, but as a condition defined by the interplay of two forces: the internal voice (the guiding narrative of one's authentic self) and the external voice (the societal expectations, rules, and pressures).The entry describes a spectrum of human experience based on the volume of these two voices: * The Obliterated Voice: This is the state of total compliance. The internal voice is completely silenced by a deafening external voice. The individual becomes a mere echo of the outside world, lacking a genuine sense of self. * The Overwhelming Voice: This is the opposite extreme. The internal voice is so loud and chaotic that it drowns out all external input, leading to a profound break from reality and the shared world.
