A rapid evidence assessment of 20 academic papers that record health or social outcomes of healthcare-community food aid partnerships. Collaborative interventions between these two sectors demonstrate increased fruit and vegetable consumption, improved dietary quality, supported disease management, reduced emergency visits, enhanced mental health, and reduced food insecurity. Evidence also demonstrates increased satisfaction and reduced stigma with aid received in healthcare settings. This document was produced as an assignment for the FPM001 Food and Public Policy module undertaken at the Centre for Food Policy, City St Georges, University of London. The document has been written to address a marking criteria and learning outcomes.
