Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is a chronic degenerative bone metabolic disease that primarily affects elderly adults, leading to chronic pain and disability which affect patients' daily activities. Electroacupuncture (EA) is a commonly used method for the treatment of chronic pain in clinical practice.
