Therapy stops elevation of interferon-alpha (IFNα), reducing immune cell abnormalities, approaching Elite Controllers (EC). Anti-HIV ineffectiveness, resultant elevation and harm to immune cells by IFNα, is due to IFNα induction of CCR5, promoting more infection. EC avoid this either by an unidentified genetic factor or a low inoculum infection.
治疗可抑制α干扰素(interferon-alpha, IFNα)的水平升高,改善免疫细胞异常状态,进而趋近于精英控制者(Elite Controllers, EC)。抗HIV治疗失效,以及由此产生的IFNα升高与免疫细胞损伤,均源于IFNα可诱导CCR5表达,从而促进更多病毒感染。精英控制者之所以能够规避这一问题,要么是存在尚未明确的遗传因素,要么是初始感染时的病毒接种剂量较低。
