Local community shapes gut microbiome composition of the African NHPs

This project analyzes the environmental DNA extracted from feces of wild NHPs inhabiting Moukalaba-Doudou National Park, Gabon and Kibale National Park, Uganda using NGS to reveal the relationship between host phylogeny and gut microbiome composition.

本项目针对栖息于加蓬穆卡拉巴-杜杜国家公园（Moukalaba-Doudou National Park）与乌干达基巴莱国家公园（Kibale National Park）的野生非人灵长类（non-human primates, NHPs）粪便中提取的环境DNA（environmental DNA, eDNA）开展分析，采用下一代测序技术（next-generation sequencing, NGS），旨在揭示宿主系统发育与肠道微生物组组成之间的关联。
