Shot-gun metagenomic sequencing of onion foliage

We conducted a metagenomics survey on the onion foliage for OxiDate pre-treated BlightBan (a.i, Pseudomonas fluorescens A506) plots, only BlighBan treated plots, and non-treated control plots to monitor the population dynamics of P. fluorescens A506 on onion leaves. This study was conducted to better understand the effect of microbicide (OxiDate) application on the efficacy of biocontrol agents to manage the center rot disease on onion foliage and bulbs.我们针对经OxiDate预处理的BlightBan（其有效成分为荧光假单胞菌（Pseudomonas fluorescens A506））处理地块、仅经BlightBan处理的地块以及未处理的对照地块，开展洋葱叶面宏基因组学调查，以监测荧光假单胞菌A506在洋葱叶片上的种群动态。本研究旨在明确杀微生物制剂OxiDate的施用对生防制剂防控洋葱叶面及鳞茎中心腐烂病的效果所产生的影响。
