Diet-omics in the Study of Urban and Rural Crohn disease Evolution (SOURCE) cohort

The Study Of Urban and Rural Crohn disease Evolution (SOURCE) characterized exposures, diet, and microbial factors in newly diagnosed Crohn Disease (CD) patients and controls in rural and urban China, and in treatment-naive Israeli CD patients and controls. Time spent by rural residents in urban environments, diet, and exposures were linked with gut microbial composition.Here are deposited 38 Israeli fecal metagenomics samples from this study.

城乡克罗恩病演化研究（SOURCE）针对中国城乡地区新确诊的克罗恩病（Crohn Disease，CD）患者与健康对照，以及未接受过治疗的以色列克罗恩病患者与健康对照，对其暴露因素、饮食与微生物相关因素开展了表征分析。研究发现，农村居民在城市环境中的停留时长、饮食情况及暴露因素与肠道微生物组构成存在关联。本数据集存放了该研究中获取的38份以色列人群粪便宏基因组样本。
