This study aimed to investigate comprehensive gene expression changes in periodontal ligament cells after the treatment of the cells with cell extract from mesenchymal stem cells (MSC-ectract) using RNA-seq analysis. RNA-seq data was collected from periodontal ligament cells in control (non-treated for 24 hours) and experimental (treated with MSC-extract for 24 hours) group and compared. We have observed that MSC-extract enhanced the migration and proliferation of periodontal ligament cells and this RNA-seq results may explain the mechanism of the effect of MSC-extract on the cells. Because periodontal ligament cells have important role in wound healing process of periodontal tissues, MSC-extract may be useful for the regeneration of these tissues.

本研究旨在通过RNA测序(RNA-seq)分析,探究牙周韧带细胞经间充质干细胞(mesenchymal stem cell, MSC)提取物处理后的全基因表达变化。研究收集了对照组(未处理24小时)与实验组(经MSC提取物处理24小时)的牙周韧带细胞RNA-seq数据并开展对比分析。结果显示,MSC提取物可促进牙周韧带细胞的迁移与增殖,本次RNA-seq结果或可阐明MSC提取物对细胞发挥作用的分子机制。鉴于牙周韧带细胞在牙周组织的创伤愈合过程中具有重要作用,MSC提取物或可用于该类组织的再生修复。
