Uranium comminution ages and denudation rates for quartz-poor Sumatran catchments, with global ¹⁰Be comparison
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the supporting tables for the manuscript: "Uranium Comminution Ages as a Denudation Chronometer in Tectonically Active Orogens" Table 1Sample details, comminution ages, and denudation rates for detrital sediments from the Asahan and Batang Toru rivers (Sumatra). Comminution ages were calculated under the conventional secular-equilibrium assumption (A₀ = 1) and with the flux-weighted effective initial ratio (A₀ᵉᶠᶠ). Denudation rates were derived via the steady-state relation ε = h/ tcom using SoilGrids regolith thicknesses. Table 2Global comparison of uranium-series comminution-age-derived denudation rates with independent in-situ ¹⁰Be denudation rates. For each catchment, the comminution age is calculated first under the conventional A₀ = 1 assumption, and then with a representative non-equilibrium A₀ (0.98–0.99), consistent with the bedrock ²³⁴U depletion observed in active orogens. The ¹⁰Be denudation rate serves as the independent reference.
