Community survey data from the D-Magic study, Faridpur District, Bangladesh

The “Diabetes Mellitus: Action Through Groups or Information for Better Control? » (D-Magic) study was a three-arm cluster randomised controlled trial conducted in four rural sub-districts of Faridpur, Bangladesh. The trial tested the impact of two interventions, participatory learning and action (PLA) and mHealth messages, in the prevention of T2DM. For this analysis, we used data from the D-Magic endline evaluation survey, which included interviews with 11,454 permanent residents, males and non-pregnant females, aged 30 years and older, conducted between January 16 and April 30, 2018.

《糖尿病：以群体行动抑或信息赋能实现更佳管控？》（D-Magic）研究为一项在孟加拉国法里德布尔县4个农村分区开展的三臂整群随机对照试验。本试验针对两项干预措施——参与式学习与行动（Participatory Learning and Action，简称PLA）及移动健康（mobile Health，简称mHealth）信息干预——在2型糖尿病（Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus，简称T2DM）预防中的效果进行了评估。本次分析所用数据来自D-Magic研究的终线评估调查，该调查于2018年1月16日至4月30日期间开展，共访谈了11454名年满30岁及以上的常住居民，涵盖男性与非妊娠女性。
