New inexpensive long read sequencing technologies can enable genomics of individual isolates from fermented beverage processes. To this end, we demonstrate the utility of nanopore sequencing for whole genome sequencing of a spoilage yeast isolated from cider, identified as Kregervanrija delftensis NCC-J. The Kregervanrija genus has few genomes available, thus this contributes to the genomics of ascomycete yeasts.
新型低成本长读长测序技术(long read sequencing technologies)可实现发酵饮品生产流程中单株分离菌株的基因组学研究。为此,我们验证了纳米孔测序(nanopore sequencing)在全基因组测序中的应用价值,其研究对象为从苹果酒中分离得到的致败酵母,经鉴定为德尔夫特克雷格范里雅酵母(Kregervanrija delftensis)NCC-J。目前克雷格范里雅酵母属(Kregervanrija)已公开的基因组数据十分有限,因此本研究成果可为子囊菌酵母(ascomycete yeasts)的基因组学研究提供重要补充。
