U.S. adult online dating scammers encounters 2022, by age

A July 2022 survey of adults in the United States found that more than half of the respondents who had used online dating sites or apps in the United States were convinced they had encountered scammers on these platforms. Furthermore, this share was highest among respondents between 18 and 49 years, 53 percent.
