Description This dataset provides the complete set of input parameters, fitted distributions, and simulation files used in the uncertainty analysis and design of integrated constructed wetlands (ICWs) for nutrient and sediment removal in Andean hydropower reservoirs. It supports the reproducibility of the k–C* model implementation and Monte Carlo simulations described in the associated manuscript. Included are: Excel tables detailing descriptive statistics, fitted distributions (e.g., truncated normal, triangular), and bounds for influent concentrations (NO₃⁻, NH₄⁺, PO₄³⁻, TSS), temperature correction coefficients (Θ), flow rates, and efficiencies. EES files for Monte Carlo simulations of each pollutant and for the sizing of three wetlands in series. Sampling settings specifying the method (Latin Hypercube), sample size (1000), random seed, and temperature correction logic. README and metadata files documenting all assumptions, equations, and rationale for uncertainty ranges. This dataset addresses key reproducibility concerns by providing: Explicit ΔT values and temperature-adjusted rate constants Distribution types with parameters (e.g., μ, σ, bounds) Correlation structure (if applicable) Full traceability of model inputs and outputs It is intended for use in environmental engineering, climate adaptation planning, and reproducible modeling of nature-based solutions in tropical catchments.
