Dataset and SPSS syntax for: Occupational Injuries Before and After the 2023 Kahramanmaraş Earthquakes: A Three-Year Emergency Department Study

De-identified dataset and IBM SPSS Statistics 26 syntax for the study "Occupational Injuries Before and After the 2023 Kahramanmaraş Earthquakes: A Three-Year Emergency Department Study". The dataset includes all 3117 patients who presented with an occupational injury to the emergency department of Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, Kahramanmaraş, Türkiye, between 1 July 2021 and 30 June 2024. Patient names and hospital file numbers were removed, and the ID variable is the row order of the source file. Files occupational_injuries_ED_2021_2024.csv: one row per patient with sex, age, mode of arrival, year, month, day of the week, 4-hour time band of presentation, injury mechanism codes, injured body region codes and indicators, specialty consultation codes and emergency department disposition. occupational_injuries_ED_2021_2024.sav: analysis file created by the syntax, with variable labels, value labels and derived variables. occupational_injuries_ED_monthly_2021_2024.sav: monthly counts used in the interrupted time series analysis. occupational_injuries_ED_2021_2024.sps: syntax that imports the CSV file, derives all analysis variables and reproduces the analyses reported in the article. Set the folder in the FILE HANDLE command before running it. One age and one time code outside the coding frame are kept in the CSV file as recorded; the syntax sets both to missing. The study was approved by the Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University Medical Research Ethics Committee (session 2024/23, decision no. 14, 16 September 2024; protocol no. 204).
