Ownership structure and financial distress. Is the tale different from Sub-Saharan Africa?

The study examines the effect of ownership structure on the financial distress of firms listed in sub-Saharan Africa. The findings highlight the role played by the quality of governance frameworks in forecasting firms’ financial distress.
