The sclera maintains and protects the eye ball, which receives visual inputs. The aim of this study is to identify characteristics of the human sclera as one of the connective tissues derived from the neural crest and mesoderm. We have here demonstrated microarray data of cultured human scleral cells. Keywords: sclera, cartilage Overall design: Affymetrix human U133 plus 2.0 array was used to transcriptionally profile to compare sclera cells and others.
巩膜(sclera)具有维持和保护接收视觉输入的眼球的作用。本研究旨在阐明作为神经嵴与中胚层衍生结缔组织之一的人类巩膜的特征。本研究已发布培养的人类巩膜细胞的微阵列(microarray)数据。关键词:巩膜、软骨(cartilage)。整体实验设计:采用Affymetrix人类U133 Plus 2.0基因芯片进行转录组分析,以对比巩膜细胞与其他细胞的基因表达差异。
