The mutational landscape of hepatocarcinogeneis in a rat model

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) initiation is characterized by the sequential stepwise accumulation of molecular alterations. However, the earliest events during the dynamic temporal trend of hepatocarcinogenesis are still unknown. Using a diethylnitrosamine (DEN)-induced rat HCC model, we report a comprehensive genomic landscape of liver tissues at the stages of hepatitis, cirrhosis, and HCC.

肝细胞癌（Hepatocellular carcinoma）的发生以分子改变的序贯逐步积累为核心特征。然而，肝癌变动态时间进程中的最早事件仍未被阐明。本研究借助二乙基亚硝胺（diethylnitrosamine，DEN）诱导的大鼠HCC模型，系统报道了肝炎、肝硬化及肝细胞癌三个阶段肝脏组织的全基因组特征谱。
