Daily patterns in gene expression in field-reared Nematostella

Previous studies have described circadian and diel gene expression patterns in this species under lab culture conditions (pyrex dishes, 12h light-dark cycle). This study explores daily gene expression in animals that were explanted to field conditions (salt marsh sediments) and then sampled over a 24-h period in the lab.
