Daily patterns in gene expression in field-reared Nematostella

Previous studies have described circadian and diel gene expression patterns in this species under lab culture conditions (pyrex dishes, 12h light-dark cycle). This study explores daily gene expression in animals that were explanted to field conditions (salt marsh sediments) and then sampled over a 24-h period in the lab.既往研究已在实验室培养条件（Pyrex培养皿、12小时明暗周期）下阐明了该物种的昼夜节律（circadian）与日周期（diel）基因表达模式。本研究则探究了转植至野外生境（盐沼沉积物）的受试动物的日周期基因表达模式，并随后在实验室中开展了为期24小时的采样工作。
