Cave myotis diet

In this study, we used metabarcoding of the cytochrome oxidase I mitochondrial gene to analyze fecal samples of Myotis velifer and provide insight into the seasonal variation of diet from a colony located in the Chihuahuan Desert region of Texas.

本研究采用线粒体细胞色素氧化酶I基因（cytochrome oxidase I mitochondrial gene）的宏条形码（metabarcoding）技术，对栖息于美国得克萨斯州奇瓦瓦沙漠区域的洞鼠耳蝠（Myotis velifer）种群的粪便样本开展分析，以此揭示其食性的季节变化规律。
