This dataset contains only the GCIP/EAOP-98 Automated Surface Observing System (ASOS) and National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) DATSAV3 "Special" observation surface data for the GCIP/EAOP-98 domain and time period. These are observations that are reported at off-hour times. The ASOS and DATSAV3 "Nominal" hourly surface data for the GCIP/EAOP-98 domain and time period are included in the GCIP/EAOP-98 Hourly Surface Composite.
本数据集仅涵盖GCIP/EAOP-98研究区域及对应时段内的自动地面观测系统（Automated Surface Observing System，ASOS）与美国国家气候数据中心（National Climatic Data Center，NCDC）DATSAV3"特殊"地面观测数据，此类观测均为非正点时刻上报的观测结果。针对GCIP/EAOP-98研究区域及对应时段的ASOS与DATSAV3"标称"逐时地面观测数据，已收录于GCIP/EAOP-98地面逐时合成数据集中。
