本研究借助生物地理随机映射（Biogeographical Stochastic Mapping, BSM），估算了黍亚族（Panicinae）演化历史中发生的生物地理事件数量。我们对1000次BSM的事件计数结果取平均值，最终结果中括号内标注了对应的标准差。本次统计分别给出了三类事件的总计数：范围扩张事件（前进演化扩散，a）、奠基者事件（分支演化扩散，b）以及同域物种形成事件（c）。
