SEES 2026 Land Cover Archive: Palo Alto & Mountain View, California

This research surrounds emerges from the NASA STEM Enhancement in the Earth Sciences (SEES) High School Internship program, where we investigated an area of interest spanning Palo Alto and Mountain View California. We collected GLOBE Observer field observations, classified land cover points in reference to satellite observations, and summarised findings in a community chronicle. Additionally, this work lead to a case study to develope an automated method to evaluate saltmarsh restoration through remote sensing.
