The works developed for <b>Deep Sea</b> resulted from Mariele Neudecker's collaboration with marine scientists and explore the hidden, often contradictory, aspects of the deep ocean. Focusing on the theme of the sublime in a contemporary context Neudecker questions our perceptions of, relationship to and impact on this invisible world.<br><br>This item contains a project outline, an exhibition guide, 2 mp4 composite films of the 12 screen installation,18 exhibition views, and a composite image of video stills.<br><br>There is also Vimeo link to the full length video <b>One More Time</b> below.<br><br>Organised by <i>Invisible Dust</i>, <b>Offshore: Artists Explore the Sea</b> was an exhibition held at Hull Maritime Museum and Ferens Gallery as part of Hull City of Culture 2017. The exhibition featured existing and 10 specially commissioned works by invited contemporary artists, that explore the impact on the sea of climate change, and look at the contrasting ways the oceans have shaped our culture, economy and imagination.<br><br><b>Offshore </b>was curated by Gemma Lloyd and Lara Goodband and produced by <i>Invisible Dust</i> in partnership with Hull Culture and Leisure and Hull City Council.<br><br>For a full list of participating artists please see the exhibition guide in this item.<br><br><b>To view the entire film, please click the below Vimeo link to One More Time (2017):</b><b>https://vimeo.com/257343766<br></b><b><br>Photography</b>: David Chalmers. 由<i>无形尘埃(Invisible Dust)</i>策划筹办的<b>「离岸:艺术家探索海洋(Offshore: Artists Explore the Sea)」</b>,作为2017年赫尔市文化之都项目的组成部分,于赫尔海事博物馆与费伦斯画廊(Ferens Gallery)展出。本次展览收录了受邀当代艺术家的既有作品与10件定制委托新作,探讨气候变化对海洋的影响,并审视海洋在塑造人类文化、经济与想象力层面的多元反差面貌。
<b>「离岸」</b>展览由杰玛·劳埃德(Gemma Lloyd)与劳拉·古德班德(Lara Goodband)担任策展人,由<i>无形尘埃(Invisible Dust)</i>联合赫尔文化休闲机构(Hull Culture and Leisure)与赫尔市议会联合制作出品。
