R-HydroNET: A Regional, Electronic Hydrometeorological Data Network for South America, Central America, and the Caribbean from Univ. New Hampshire

R-HydroNET, a regional, electronic hydrometeorological data network for South America, Central America, and the Caribbean is a prorotype WWW-based regional data bank to support water sciences and water resource assessment in South America, Central America, and the Caribbean, using joint pan-American scientific and monitoring station information resources. The data bank initially consists of: - hydromet data from the UNESCO River Discharge (RivDIS) data set - Legates and Willmott Temperature and Precipitation - Global Historic Climatology Network - Amazonian Precipitation data - station-based meteorological and river monitoring data sets from participating hydromet services - USGS Discharge Gauging Stations data in the humid tropical region - the UNH Simulated River Networks.
