Non-contiguous finished genome sequence and description of Bacillus massilioalgeriensis sp. nov.. Bacillus sp. EB01

A novel Gram-positive, halophilic bacterium, designated strain EB01, was isolated from hypersaline sediment sample in Oum El Bouaghi (Ezzemoul sabkha), northeastern Algeria. Strain EB01 was identified as a member of the genus Bacillus. Phylogenetic analysis showed that strain EB01 had 16S rRNA gene sequence similarities of 96.7 % with Bacillus foraminis strain: CV53 (NCBI reference sequence: NR_042274.1).

一株命名为EB01的新型革兰氏阳性（Gram-positive）嗜盐细菌，分离自阿尔及利亚东北部乌姆布阿吉地区的Ezzemoul盐沼（sabkha）高盐沉积物样品。菌株EB01被鉴定为芽孢杆菌属（Bacillus）的成员。系统发育分析表明，菌株EB01与孔状芽孢杆菌（Bacillus foraminis）CV53菌株（NCBI参考序列：NR_042274.1）的16S rRNA基因序列相似性为96.7%。
