This study is a premiere sequencing of a Romanian local strain of Drosophila melanogaster. This work is expected to represent a significant contribution to the studies of genetics and evolution of D. melanogaster in S-E Europe.

本研究首次完成罗马尼亚本土黑腹果蝇（Drosophila melanogaster）品系的测序。此项工作有望为东南欧地区黑腹果蝇的遗传学与进化研究作出重要贡献。
