Guizhou black goat is one of the indigenous black goat breeds in the southwest region of Guizhou, China, which is an ordinary goat for mutton production. Here, we resequenced the whole genome of Guizhou black goat from 30 unrelated individuals breeding in the core farms. A total of 9,835,610 SNPs were detected, and 2,178,818 SNPs were identified specifically in this breed.

贵州黑山羊是中国贵州省西南地区的本土黑山羊品种之一，是用于肉羊生产的普通山羊品种。本研究对核心育种场饲养的30只无亲缘关系个体的贵州黑山羊进行了全基因组重测序，共检测到9,835,610个单核苷酸多态性（Single Nucleotide Polymorphism, SNP）位点，其中2,178,818个为该品种所特有。
