Statue of Apollo Lykeios

This statue is a combination of two different Roman copies, the head and body were put together in the 18th century. It shows Apollo, the Greek god of the arts, light and knowledge, in the Lykeios type - with the right forearm resting on top of his head. The model was either an original created around 340 BC, or a Helenistic remodelling from around 150 BC.这件雕塑由两件不同的罗马复制品拼接而成，其头部与躯干于18世纪被组合为一体。该作品呈现的是希腊艺术、光明与知识之神阿波罗的吕克奥斯（Lykeios）造型，其右臂前臂搭于头顶之上。其原型或为公元前340年左右的原作，亦或是公元前150年左右的希腊化（Hellenistic）时期改作。
