Eye transcriptomes of frogs

This project aims to understand the gene expression dynamics of vision genes, including opsins and phototransduction genes, across the frog tree of life. Because frogs exhibit diverse life history strategies, our project will understand how vision changes at a molecular level as those transitions evolved.
