GIS Datasets and Workflow for Assessing Renewable Energy Community Potential in Caorso, Italy

This repository contains the GIS datasets and methodological workflow used to assess the potential of a Renewable Energy Community (REC) in the municipality of Caorso, Italy. The spatial data include building geometries and land-use information derived from the Emilia-Romagna Regional Geoportal (DB Topografico – DBTR). These datasets were used to estimate rooftop photovoltaic potential and to support the construction of synthetic energy production and consumption profiles under limited information conditions.
