Dynamic spatial conservation boundaries and internal zoning of Madagascar from 2000 to 2025

This dataset extends the World Database on Protected Areas (WDPA) with time-bounded states documenting boundary modifications, status reclassifications, governance changes, temporary protections, and internal zoning. It covers 123 terrestrial protected areas in Madagascar from 2000 to 2025. Data were compiled by integrating historical archive snapshots, national system datasets, legal texts from the national legislative database, and expert literature. All amendments are stored in a version-controlled YAML registry and consolidated through deterministic rules. The dataset is provided for spatio-temporal analyses of conservation histories.

本数据集对世界保护区数据库（World Database on Protected Areas, WDPA）进行扩展，新增具有时间约束的状态记录，涵盖边界调整、地位重分类、治理架构变更、临时保护措施及内部分区调整等内容，覆盖2000年至2025年间马达加斯加境内的123个陆地保护区。数据通过整合历史存档快照、国家系统数据集、国家立法数据库收录的法律文本及专业研究文献汇编而成，所有修订内容均存储于受版本控制的YAML注册表中，并通过确定性规则完成整合，专为保护历史的时空分析研究提供支撑。
