The study of gut and oral microbiome in patients with Alzheimer's disease (AP09259730)

We study the diversity and composition of gut and oral microbiome isolated from patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's dementia in Kazakhstan in comparison with healthy seniors in order to advance the understanding of the pathology, search for new diagnostic biomarkers and prevention strategies based on the analysis of microbiome.

本研究以哈萨克斯坦境内确诊阿尔茨海默病痴呆的患者为受试对象，与健康老年人群开展对照研究，分析从上述患者体内分离得到的肠道与口腔微生物组（microbiome）的多样性及组成，以期加深对该疾病病理机制的理解，探索基于微生物组分析的新型诊断生物标志物与预防策略。
