The COVID-19 Pandemics have caused changes in consumption behavior and boosted the growth of an already successful Food Delivery Industry. We used data obtained through a survey of consumers living in Bangkok during the COVID-19 outbreak to find correlations between demographics, consumption behavior and preference for dine-in vs delivery. We have identified prior decision on the dishes, cost, and time of delivery to be factors that significantly affects consumers decision while ordering food delivery but found no correlation to their preference for either dine-in or delivery. The recommendation and applicable strategies for restaurants that want to focus on dine-in, delivery or both have been included in this study but may not be relevant for business outside of Bangkok due to limitation in survey samples.
