The influence of Mahkota Dewa (phaleria macrocarpa) on tnf- and il-6 expression in a rat model of preeclampsia

Objective: to determine the effectiveness of philaria macrocarpa fruit extract in altering tnf alfa and il-6 expression in a rat model of preeclampsia
Methods: a quasi experimental conducted on 24 pregnant rats in the Biology Laboratorium of the MIPA faculty of Sumatera utara University and Patologi Anatomi Laboratorium
Result: TNF alfa and IL-6 expression level were significantly eleveted in the placentas of rats with preeclampsia
Conclusion: Treatment with P macrocarpa desreased TNF alfa expression but not IL-6 expression

研究目标：明确大果菲拉利亚木（Philaria macrocarpa）果实提取物对子痫前期（preeclampsia）大鼠模型中肿瘤坏死因子-α（TNF-α）与白细胞介素-6（IL-6）表达的调控作用。
实验方法：本研究为类实验研究，于北苏门答腊大学数学与自然科学（MIPA）学院生物学实验室及病理解剖学实验室开展，共纳入24只妊娠大鼠。
实验结果：子痫前期大鼠胎盘中的TNF-α与IL-6表达水平显著升高。
研究结论：大果菲拉利亚木提取物处理可降低大鼠胎盘TNF-α的表达，但对IL-6的表达无显著影响。
