Long-term carbon and accumulation in a cedar (Thuja occidentalis) swamp in the Lake Simcoe Watershed, Southern Ontario, Canada

Peat cores collected from a minerotrophic cedar swamp in the Herrell Preserve, Lake Simcoe Watershed, southern Ontario, Canada. Peat chemical and physical properties are provided, including bulk density, total carbon, total nitrogen, LOI 550, and LOI 950. As well, radiocarbon dates are provided for the macrofossils subsampled from these cores.
