The intestinal tract serves as an important regulator for nutrient absorption and systemic health. However, its role in anti-parasitic infection and immunity has been largely neglected, especially when a parasite is not orally transmission. By utilizing an intraperitoneal infection model, the present study investigated for the first time, that the intestinal histopathology and functional reprogramming in mice.
肠道是营养吸收与全身健康的重要调控位点。然而其在抗寄生虫感染及免疫防御中的作用长期被忽视,尤其当寄生虫并非经口传播时。本研究首次采用腹腔感染模型,对小鼠肠道的组织病理学改变与功能重编程开展了探究。
