Phototrophic Fe(II)-oxidizing strain

Rhodopseudomonas palustris TIE-1. This strain was isolated from an iron-rich microbial mat from School Street Marsh in Woods Hole, MA. It grows photoautotrophically with Fe(II), H2, or thiosulfate as the electron donor, photoheterotrophically with a variety of organic carbon sources and chemoheterotrophically in the dark.沼泽红假单胞菌（Rhodopseudomonas palustris）TIE-1菌株。该菌株分离自美国马萨诸塞州（MA）伍兹霍尔市学校街沼泽的富铁微生物垫。其可将二价铁（Fe(II)）、氢气（H₂）或硫代硫酸钠（thiosulfate）作为电子供体进行光能自养生长；可利用多种有机碳源完成光能异养生长；还可在黑暗环境中进行化能异养生长。
