The silkworm ovary-derived BmN4 cell line is an emerging model for studying germ line piRNA pathway because BmN4 cell line retains germ line piRNA pathway. piRNAs are derived from piRNA precursors transcribed from genomic piRNA clusters. To date, the chromatin landscape for piRNA clusters and how piRNA precursor transcription is regulated are poorly understood. In this study, we analyzed transcriptome, transcription start sites, and chromatin modifications of BmN4 cell line.
家蚕卵巢来源的BmN4细胞系(BmN4 cell line)是研究生殖系piRNA(piRNA)通路的新兴模型,因该细胞系保留了生殖系piRNA通路。piRNA源自基因组piRNA簇转录产生的piRNA前体。迄今为止,关于piRNA簇的染色质景观以及piRNA前体转录的调控机制,人们尚所知甚少。本研究对BmN4细胞系的转录组、转录起始位点以及染色质修饰进行了分析。
