ADCP data collected in the northern Gulf of Mexico, Mobile Bay river plume, April 5-12, 2016

Data was collected on board the R/V Pelican during Leg 2 of the 2016 spring campaign (April 5-12, 2016) in the vicinity of the Mobile Bay river plume in the northern Gulf of Mexico. River plume fronts were observed on multiple occasions. There was also a wind event which drastically changed stratification. Data types in this collection: ADCP. Data types collected simultaneously found in another entry: shipboard flowthrough, shipboard navigation, shipboard meterological [R4.x260.000:0020], CTD (74 casts) [R4.x260.000:0018], Chameleon microstructure (~4000 casts) [R4.x260.000:0019], Biosonics acoustics [R4.x260.000:0022], X-Band Radar tuned to detect fronts [R4.x260.000:0021], SST, and a bow temperature/salinity chain.

本数据集采集于2016年春季航次第二航段（2016年4月5日至12日），由R/V鹈鹕号（R/V Pelican）科考船执行作业，观测区域位于墨西哥湾北部莫比尔湾河羽流邻近海域。本次航次期间多次观测到河羽流锋面，且发生了一次显著改变水体层结的强风事件。
