Automatic counting station Gewerbepark Osterrönfeld 2017

On Germany’s motorways and extra-local federal roads, all vehicles are permanently counted at automatic counting points. Depending on the type of equipment used, up to nine vehicle types can be distinguished. The data are collected by the Länder and transmitted to the BASt on a quarterly basis. On this basis, annual mileage and average daily traffic strengths (DTV) are calculated.
