In the current study, using a high-throughput sequencing (HTS)-based metagenomic approach, we identified diverse ARG subtypes in a natural mining soil ecosystem, indicating that these environmental habitats are an important reservoir of ARGs. Using independent genome binning, we further demonstrated that metal(loid)-induced coselection facilitate the occurrence and dissemination of ARGs in this type of soil habitat. More importantly, we showed that a type III secretion system (T3SS), which may cause human infection, is present in the two assembly scaffolds. These tables were original data for the Figures in the maintext of this manuscript.
本研究采用基于高通量测序(high-throughput sequencing, HTS)的宏基因组学方法,在自然采矿土壤生态系统中检出了多种亚型的抗生素抗性基因(Antibiotic Resistance Genes, ARG),表明这类环境生境是ARG的重要储存库。通过独立基因组分箱分析,本研究进一步证实,金属及类金属诱导的共选择作用促进了该类土壤生境中ARG的产生与传播扩散。更为关键的是,本研究发现两条组装支架序列中携带可引发人类感染的三型分泌系统(type III secretion system, T3SS)。本手稿正文配图所用的原始数据即为本部分所列表格。
