Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is a prevalent and aggressive cancer affecting both dogs and humans. While previous studies on canine DLBCL (cDLBCL) have significantly advanced veterinary oncology and highlighted the dog's potential as a comparative model, they have largely relied on whole-exome sequencing, restricting analysis to specific genomic regions. Our study aims to broaden the understanding of cDLBCL by conducting a comprehensive analysis of both coding and non-coding regions. We utilise whole-genome sequencing data from canine tumour/normal sample pairs to identify novel driver genes, potential biomarkers, and therapeutic targets, thereby enhancing our knowledge of cDLBCL and its comparative value in oncology research.
弥漫性大B细胞淋巴瘤(Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, DLBCL)是一类高发且极具侵袭性的恶性肿瘤,可同时累及犬类与人类。尽管既往针对犬弥漫性大B细胞淋巴瘤(canine DLBCL, cDLBCL)的研究极大推动了兽医肿瘤学的发展,并明确了犬类作为肿瘤学比较研究模型的潜在价值,但此类研究大多依赖全外显子组测序技术,分析范围仅局限于特定基因组区域。本研究旨在通过对编码区与非编码区开展全面分析,深化对cDLBCL的认知。我们利用犬肿瘤-正常样本配对的全基因组测序数据,鉴定新型驱动基因、潜在生物标志物与治疗靶点,进而增进对cDLBCL的理解,并提升其在肿瘤学研究中的比较医学价值。
