Connection stiffness effects in a mechanically joined timber–timber composite bridge: Data and supporting files

This dataset supports the article “Connection stiffness effects on the global response and structural design of a mechanically joined timber–timber composite bridge.” It contains the data, numerical models, processing scripts, and design calculations associated with a full-size timber–timber composite (TTC) bridge composed of CLT panels connected to glulam beams through mechanical fasteners. The dataset includes geometric and loading information for the tested bridge; raw and processed quasistatic and dynamic experimental measurements; MATLAB scripts for dynamic signal processing and figure generation; SAP2000 finite element models representing different deck-to-beam connection stiffness assumptions; and spreadsheets used for experimental–numerical comparison and structural verification. The experimental and numerical results enable assessment of how deck-to-beam connection stiffness influences the global response of the bridge and the resulting structural design checks. The repository is intended to support transparency, reproducibility, and reuse of the results reported in the associated publication.
